The infantry regiments of the Imperial Guard advance, silently, in the shadow of three immense warlord titans. Rifle shouldered, led to their chest, solemn and proud, strong of the faith in their God Emperor, at the shade of their huge war machines, they march to the sector of Daltan. Soldiers, enrolled in Istanor VII° system and even beyond, recruited from worlds light years away, almost oblivious of the war that was waiting for them, here, on Galrisian. Millions, tens of millions, incorporated in the Twelfth imperial Army ruled now by FIeld Marshal, Cavalier of the East Cross, Lord Jasper "Immanuel" Tanaiser, engaged on all fronts of the planet. Names, voices, faces, endless list of disembarkations, endless list of victims, for them all, the easiest way to become a Galrisian citizen, is to be buried here, as there is no alternative; and never as today the planet has it been so sinisterly populous. Endless lists, in a spiraling, hellish and crazy balance. Who were those of Kepler Secundus? No one will ever know. Lists, endless lists of names. Nor cried, nor sung.

The news of the imperial defeat, the defeat of the XI Legio Metalica Battlegroup with its cult mechanicus retinue bursts like an evil thunder in the darkest storm inside the headquarters of General Commissar Friedrich von Ebersberg Weyers, supreme commander of the reconquest of Kepler Secundus. The bunker is an anthill of officers of different ranks that frantically run carrying dispatches and information, battleplans and orders, reaching their regiments and divisions. The battle is looming, and it's the decisive one to liberate the city. The sector of Zulane collapsed two hours ago and the green avalanche is coming. Ferrum Iratus with the remnants of its army, the reds of Piombus, retreated near the sector 66 preparing to cover the possible retreat of the whole Imperial Army if the battle, this one too, will go wrong.

Conqueror Mundorum, Implacabilis Vindictae and Verbum Caelestis. Three warlord titans advance solemn and colossal, leading the imperial army on the battlefield of Daltan. Implacabilis Vindictae lead the battlegroup, a warlord titan with tactical-assault medium-range capabilities armed with a Gatling cannon, a turbolaser Destructor, a Volcano Cannon and a Laser burner. To its right, Conqueror Mundorum, a breakthrough class warlord titan, armed with a Vulcan Mega Bolter, a Corvus Assault pod transporting a whole praetorian combat servitor platoon, an Inferno Gun and a Plasma Destructor. A multi-role configuration, but designed to penetrate into the enemy lines. To its left, Verbum Caelestis, also a breakthrough metal beast, this time equipped for close combat, armed with a Chainfist, a Multiple Rocket Launcher, a Vulcan Mega Bolter and a Barrage Missile warhead, reinstalled after the battle of Baldareen, to settle at the enemy a first, terrible blow. OST - Cock Sparrer - Take 'Em All
The lavish district of Daltan, rich mansions overlooking the two imperial squares, in front of the ancient statutes of the founders: the Finnich and the Logar, the first settlers and founders of the colony, millennia ago, before it's become a city. The statues, now mute, in the bleak devastation of an abandoned neighborhood and battered by war. The tall buildings, elegant and sculpted, still hold intact, while the ignorant orcish apocalypse is approaching.
The alliance bridge, cooperation symbol of the two houses during the colony's foundation, connects the two squares and dominates the AX68 Highway, the main artery of the city, a channel that cross the city; the control of which can contribute to a strategic advantage as to overturn the outcome of the battle of Kepler Secundus, allowing at the armies of who controls it to swarm rapidly over the enemy lines.
The eastern residential sector appears completely ravaged by days of incessant orbital bombardment. Over the skies of Galrisian Imperial and ork spaceships fight relentless by days, but surely the orks have managed to carry out massive and devastating bombings, paving the way for their unstoppable advance. The Emperor's Cathedral is barely recognizable, a blackened skeleton in the middle of kilometers of smoking ruins.
On the western front, the city is still relatively intact. Some buildings around the civil space port collapsed during the orbital barrage, but the landing pads are still operational. The cult mechanicus power generators are still operating and pump energy in the sector.
The streets around the lords neighborhood are the abomination of desolation. A radioactive haze, dense of smoke and toxic gases moves and sways springs in the sector, through the skeletons of the ruined buildings, while fleeting shadows of poor survivors creep into dark recesses, like desolate ants, hiding like forgotten ghosts.
