From the Soopa Stompa an absurd ork of the bad moon holding a monstrous megaphone is screaming incomprehensible rants, or completely insane. The battle excites them, the orks. It makes them more fierce, more combative, more successful. And terribly, terribly most dangerous.
Speed and explosions, as drugs bring the orks to a level of terrifying euphoria.
The second and last mechanized infantry regiment is ready. The coordinates are acquired, the tactical plan is ready. From behind the hill the praetorian combat servitors whizzing down, while the imperial infantry advances on the side conquering the ruins previously occupied by the orks, giving assault simultaneously on the entire orks first line: the gyrocopters, a blitz brigade and what remains of the evil sunz kult of speed. The servitors, together with some robots, burst between the ork tanks and buggies, engaging them in a mortal melee. Immediately is unleashed a terrifying support fire, the battlefortresses, the column of tanks close behind and the warlord titan open fire into the fray adding massacre to massacre. Smoke, fire, explosions, screams, gears and metal sheets that melt, spines that break and limbs jumping in the air in a roaring devastation. But the victory is imperial. Numerous tanks chimera were destroyed, along with about twenty servitors, but the first ork line is annihilated.
From the head of the Soopa Stompa, the Warboss howls the immediate retaliation. The entire Stompa Mob opens fire. The combination of the Soopa guns of the warengine with the fierce shelling of the Stompas in sustained fire turn into a monstrous glowing fireball. One that moments before seemed the prologue of a certain victory turns into a blazing tomb. Dozens of imperial guards vanish under fire at millions degrees, entire chimera tanks are vaporized while others, destroyed, go down to the valley to blend into the dead swamp that became the valley itself. When the smoke dissipates, the hill is only death. Alone, the warlord titan still stands on the horizon.
What remains of the praetorians and the imperial infantry fall back again behind the hill.
Sandor is death, speed and fire. Only this.
Before to be targeted by the ork tanks, and with the initiative in their hands, the leman russ tanks open a sustained fire against one of the countless orks blitz brigades, the first in front of them, destroying a lot of enemy tanks.
Few moments later, and Ferrum Iratus turns is red head, looking wth his green eyes with hate the ork fortresseses. All its weapon systems turn to them, the volcano cannon, the quake cannon, the turbolaser destructor and the gatling cannon; and with unbridgeable fury it opens fire. The volcano cannon hits and melts entirely a first fortress, while the quake cannon destroys the second, and two gun wagonz. The other weapon systems riddle with bullets the third fortress, reducing it to a pile of useless metal. Nothing is survived at its wrath.
Another ork blitz brigade tries to push back the leman russ, but are able to destroy only one tank during their gunfire.
The orks try again a serious retaliation, with the ground attack of the stukas upon the imperial super heavy tanks, but their heavy armor resists the enemy fire. In the same time, but in the opposite side of the battlefield, the marauder bombers try to stop an incoming blitz brigade, destroying one tank, but it's not enough.
